Shader Pastel Settings for Complementary Shaderpack

This guide helps you apply custom pastel color settings to the Complementary shaderpack for Minecraft, ensuring a harmonious blend with the "Dragon Dance" texture pack.

Requirements

1. Complementary Shaderpack: Ensure you have the latest version.
2. Dragon Dance Texture Pack: Install and apply this texture pack in Minecraft.

Installation Instructions

1. Download and Install Complementary Shaderpack:
   • Download the Complementary shaderpack from Complementary Shaders.
   • Place the shaderpack in your Minecraft shaderpacks folder (.minecraft/shaderpacks).
2. Duplicate and Rename the Shaderpack:
   • Open the Minecraft shaderpacks folder (Options > Video Settings > Shaders > Open Shaders Folder).
   • Make a copy of the Complementary shaderpack folder.
   • Rename the copied folder by adding "_Pastel" to the end (e.g., Complementary_v4.5_Pastel.zip).
3. Create and Edit the Settings File:
   • Open a text editor (e.g., Notepad, Notepad++).
   • Create a new text file.
   • Name the file exactly as the shaderpack zip file but add .txt at the end (e.g., Complementary_v4.5_Pastel.zip.txt).
4. Paste Custom Pastel Settings:

   • Copy the following custom pastel settings and paste them into the text file:

   • Save the text file and close the text editor.
5. Move the Settings File:
   • Move the saved .txt settings file into the shaders folder of the _Pastel copy of Complementary (e.g., Complementary_v4.5_Pastel/shaders).
6. Apply the Shader in Minecraft:
   • Launch Minecraft.
   • Go to Options > Video Settings > Shaders.
   • Select the _Pastel version of the Complementary shaderpack.
   • Ensure the Dragon Dance texture pack is active.
