Sildur's TFC Setup
This is a configuration file for Sildur's Shaders tailored for TerraFirmaCraft (TFC) to correct water textures and add waving effects to plants and other elements.
Installation
1. Download and install Sildur's Shaders from their official website: [Sildur's Shaders Downloads](https://sildurs-shaders.github.io/downloads/)
2. Ensure you have the correct version of Optifine installed. For Minecraft version 1.12, you'll need Optifine 1.12.2 HD U F6 pre1, which is available under "Preview Versions" on the Optifine downloads page: [Optifine Downloads](https://optifine.net/downloads)
3. Navigate to your Minecraft Shaderpacks folder.
4. Open the downloaded Sildur's Shaders zip file.
5. Inside the zip file, open the "shaders" folder.
6. Replace the existing `block.properties` file with the one provided in your download.
7. Close the zip file and launch Minecraft.
8. In Minecraft, go to Options > Video Settings > Shaders.
9. Select Sildur's Shaders from the list.
10. Adjust shader settings as needed. Suggestions include disabling Godrays affecting the Sun and Moon to prevent the Moon from appearing excessively bright, and lowering shader brightness to the lowest option for more realistic nights.
Suggestions
- Godrays currently affect both the Sun and Moon, making the Moon appear overly bright. It's recommended to disable Godrays temporarily.
- By default, nights may appear overly bright with these shaders. Lowering the shader brightness to the lowest option can provide a more realistic nighttime experience.
This setup guide should help you configure Sildur's Shaders specifically for use with TerraFirmaCraft, ensuring compatibility and enhancing your Minecraft gameplay experience accordingly.
